This year's event was held from 5:30 - 8:30 pm on Tuesday, June 16th, 2009 at Alumni Hall, and we were proud to benefit the Salvation Army soup kitchen and Meals on Wheels, and they were both excited to have our support.  We have also created a partnership with the Blue Ridge Mountains Rotary Club, who organized a fantastic silent auction to directly benefit the Emergency Food Bank.  We raised over $30,000 for these groups at this year’s event – thanks to all of our participants and sponsors, and to those of you who attended this wonderful event!

During the event this year, we invited guests to vote for their favorite participant in our “Eater’s Choice Award”.  The top finishers were:
